Boarding

We know how important your pet is to you and our caring staff will provide your pet with personal attention. We have runs for large dogs (one 5' by 5' run and six 3' by 5' runs). Small dogs can be kept in either a run or a smaller cage, in a separate room, to make them feel safe and secure. The cat condos are in another separate room, away from the dogs. All enclosed rooms have interior windows so that our boarding pets can easily be observed by our staff. Special needs patients receive the kind of care you would expect at a state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital. The addition of our Hydrotherapy Tank affords our boarders a unique opportunity. If you would like your dog to have some additional fun exercise while staying with us, the underwater treadmill provides a stimulating experience. Your dog will be trained how to use the treadmill first, accompanied in the tank by one of our technicians. The dog is walked into the tank, the door is latched and the warm water quickly fills. The technician steadies the dog, then starts the treadmill slowly. As the dog gets used to the motion, the speed is gradually increased. Your pet will be exercised for 20 minutes. Once they get comfortable with the filling of the tank and the exercise, they are able to walk in the tank by themselves with the technician supervising. |

Optional Services Available

When you leave your pets with us, you can relax with the knowledge that whether they require medical attention, or if just in need of routine care, our Veterinarians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians and trained staff will be there to care for them. While your pet is already staying with us, it would be a good time to schedule a dental procedure, or any other routine procedure recommended by the doctor. All after-care will be taken care here, rather than at home. When your pet comes in for boarding the first time, we will schedule your check-in with a Veterinarian. You and your pet will meet with the Veterinarian and your pet will receive a complimentary brief exam. If your pet requires a more detailed exam, please ask to schedule a normal exam with the Doctor as more time will be required. Please bring your pet's food to prevent any stomach upset with change of diet (we do have food available, of course, if needed). Pet bedding will be provided, but feel free to bring any special bedding and/or toys and treats. |

Dogs are walked at least three times daily. We have three separately fenced-in areas behind our facility for exercising pets safely. Your dog will always be supervised while he is outside. Cats may not need to be walked but they still receive loving attention throughout their stay. If your pet has any special toys they like to play with, feel free to bring them along. We love to take play breaks with the pets! Please feel free to come in for a tour of our boarding areas, we'd love to show you around! |
