Sara
Sara started working here at The Ballston Spa Veterinary Clinic as a cleaner/kennel worker in the spring of 2008. Everyday that she came in she learned more and more about Veterinary practices, treatments and diagnostics, until she finally stepped up to be a Veterinary Assistant in the summer of 2009. She is continuing to learn new things on a daily basis, and hopes to someday become a licensed Veterinary Technician.
Unfortunately apartment living doesn't give you much allowance when it comes to pets. However, she could never live without. Pictured below are her two rats; Tabitha (gray) and Cidney (white). Sara says: "I know a lot of people think rats are gross, but after holding or playing with one, I think a lot of people would see how great their little personalities are, and how incredibly smart they are."
In Sara's free time she enjoys Graphic Design (drawing, animation, Photoshop, etc.), video games, music and shows/concerts, snowboarding and anything outdoors; hiking, swimming, etc.
